Side Return Extensions

Many people think it’s not worth extending their property by only few feet either side, but by adding a simple side extension you will be surprised what a difference it can make to a room. Loft Conversions, Roof Lifts and Dormer Extensions
The loft is often your home’s largest unused area, and because of this it usually has the most potential for conversions! Normally used for storage alone, a well-structured loft conversion could enhance both living space and add tremendous value to your home.
If you need a loft conversion but your existing attic space just doesn’t have the headroom, then a roof-lift is the answer. A roof-lift conversion is where the ridge line of your existing roof is raised by constructing a new roof to the right height and pitch – providing all the extra space you need to create a really good sized room or even rooms. Typically, the gables of your property are constructed from brick to match your property. This type of conversion is recommended for a detached property or bungalow with a large loft but insufficient standing room. We converted this unused garage into a beautiful annex at this property pictured right.
Dormer extensions are essentially an extension out from a roof slope (or slopes), usually with a window added creating internal space and providing a more usual shape room. By projecting outwards otherwise uninhabitable space can be transformed into a new bedroom, bathroom or study.
Moving bedrooms up to this new level can allow you to free up much needed ground floor living space for that open plan kitchen and family room you have always wanted.
